TV Showed Early Who’d Win

(Nielsen ratings updated Dec. 1, 2016.)

Why is anyone shocked Trump won? Weekly television Nielsen ratings report who’s watching TV News at any time. Trump knew it. People watch what they like. Fox News has been the top rated network across all cable networks for the last 14 weeks. It even beat out ESPN. During all of November Fox held 14 of the 15 top Cable TV programs. Every night Fox News averaged 3.3 million, according to Nielsen, up 71% compared to the same time last year. Fox was reporting on Trump almost full time while CNN was bashing (and continues to bash) Trump full time. As a result CNN viewership has dropped below 1.5 million per night, barely beating out MSNBC at 1.3 million, according to Nielsen. CNN has lost all credibility. Its new name is CNN: Closed Now for News.

Daily polls taken by calling people at home between 9 and 5 were not productive for this Presidential election because more people still work in America than not. Going to construction sites and polling workers there, illegal or legal, would have indicated Trump would win. Trump talks rough like a construction worker because he is one. Americans love construction workers. They build buildings. They create jobs. They generate money. Illegally in the USA or not, workers want to work. Plumbers do more for American homeowners than Congress. Trump knows this instinctively.

The New York Times is owned by Carlos Slim, the richest man in the world who lives in Mexico. Slim takes in millions of dollars annually from illegals and legal workers from Mexico in the USA who call home on the cellular phones of the company he owns in Mexico. Plus, Slim makes more millions when they transfer money from the USA to their families down to Mexico where he owns the banks there too. NY Times reporters are encouraged to bring down Trump because Trump is bad for Slim’s business interests in America. Slim lives off Mexican workers in the USA, illegal or not. Hello? Is anyone paying attention?

carlosCarlos Slim and his family in Mexico City.

Talk Radio won this election for Trump. Millions hear daily news in their cars and trucks driving to and from work every day….the buzz word here is ‘work.’ The fact Trump wins and Chris Plante is now going national tells you something. Trump won because of Sean Hannity, Rush Limbaugh and Chris Plante. They all speak for working America. Period.

Surveys Can Save Taxpayers

All of us are repeatedly asked to take surveys after doing business with various privately owned businesses. Yet, when does a government employee ever ask you to take a survey following his or her job performance? Never. Why not have government surveys routinely conducted? Every time any local, state or federal government employee completes a job for a taxpaying citizen he or she, or the contracted company, should be surveyed. Three bad surveys and that government employee, or contractor, is out. Imagine the improvement in job performances if post offices, tax offices, airports, all AmTrack trains and medical care facilities were subject to surveys. In the private sector if consumers do not like a product or service of any company, or its employees, they simply go buy from another company. But Americans have no recourse when government employees fail to perform for them. Being able to submit job performance surveys that could affect a government employee’s job rank would  be “Huge!”

Of course unions are going to scream and say hostile people, for no reason, could fill in enough false surveys to harm government workers. But that is not how it actually works. Surveys in the business world indicate to management where corrections can be made to save the company expenses and to create a more productive working environment. In truth, it is usually private sector employees themselves who fill out such surveys. No doubt there are government workers also who can tip off Washington on where and how to save tax dollars. After all, they too are taxpayers!
